As part of my art-making with Bajan artist Ronald Williams for our exhibition 6 for a 9, I turned to making digital collages of my Queering Cane series of works using analogue cut outs to layer and mount a new perspective to the narrative.
Created using an iPad these collages mix drawing, photography, and textures to continue my exploration of Black female relationships.
Exploring Barbados on several excursions, I use my photographs to reinvent the landscape, employing my iconic red tape (once used to hold my unfinished handmade collages together before gluing) and my iPad to join disparate landmarks and locations.
Continued exploration of the Barbadian landscape through collage and photography.
